Engagement with 1-Material on organic electronic device validation of materials.

The laboratory of Prof Timothy Bender (University of Toronto, Department of Chemical Engineering and Applied Chemistry) is partnering with 1-Material Inc (Montreal) to develop a protocol to electronically validate their novel organic electronic nano materials. As part of this engagement, 1-Material will supply the laboratory with samples of their nano materials that are currently in the market. Each will be electronically validated with an organic photovoltaic device. This validation will occur over multiple synthetic batches of each material with the goal of establishing a validation protocol based on statistical metrics. This engagement will lead to a permanent protocol that will allow 1-Material to offer not only their existing chemical certificate of analysis to their customers but also an electronic certificate of analysis.
