Mathematical Sciences: Inaugural Conference of Japan-U.S. Mathematics Institute, Baltimore, Maryland, May 16-19, 1988

This conference will be held at Johns Hopkins University on May 16-19, 1988 to mark the establishment of the Japanese-U. S. Mathematics Institute. The conference will feature participants from the U. S. and Japan active in the fields of algebraic analysis, number theory, and algebraic geometry. Emphasis is on encouraging the interaction between the first of these fields and the other two. Participant support is available.
