During the Sixth World Congress on Water Resources of the International Water Resources Association, in Ottawa, Canada, on May 29-June 3, 1988, a special session on "International Cooperation in Research on National Hydrologic Hazards" will take place in which scholars from four to five countries will present recent research results in this area. Common research interests between the US and other countries will be discussed, and a report on the results of this session will be prepared and published in the proceedings.
