US-PRC Protocol III - Delegation Visits - Travel Grant

该项目将为中国两个地震工程官方代表团访问美国提供旅费和住宿支持。 此次访问的目的是根据中美地震合作研究协议附件三：地震工程与减灾研究的条款进行技术交流。 这两个代表团是： 1. 建设部代表团（中华人民共和国） 日期：1993 年 3 月 17-28 日 代表人数：6 名 目标：协调《中美地震研究、地震工程和减灾科学技术合作研究议定书》附件三。 2. 云南省（中华人民共和国） 日期：1993 年 3 月 27 日至 4 月 8 日 代表人数：8 名 目标：继续交流有关建筑技术和减轻地震灾害的信息。

This project is to provide travel and lodging support for the visit to the U.S. of two official chinese delegations on earthquake engineering. The visit is to implement technical exchanges under the terms of US-PRC protocol in cooperative earthquake studies, Annex III: Earthquake Engineering and Hazard Mitigation Research. These two delegations are: 1. Ministry of Construction Delegation (People's Republic of China) Dates: March 17-28, 1993 Number of delegates: 6 Objectives: Coordination of Annex III to the US-PRC Protocol for scientific and technical cooperative research in earthquake studies, earthquake engineering and hazards mitigation. 2. Yunnan Province (People's Republic of China) Dates: March 27 - April 8, l993 Number of delegates: 8 Objectives: Continued exchange of information on building technology and earthquake hazard mitigation.
