p-adic group rings of finite groups

The p-adic integral group ring of a finite group G encodes both the modular and ordinary representation theory of G. It has a rich structure and its study combines representation theoretic methods with the theory of lattices and orders and therewith results in new approaches that have again applications to the modular group algebra. The project presses ahead with developing a language to describe and study such group rings using algorithmic tools as well as theoretic methods transfered from modular representation theory.
