Low-dimensional dynamics in ensembles of coupled phase oscillators

The goal of the project is to understand the effects of low-dimensional dynamics in the behavior of ensembles of coupled oscillators. Both small and large ensembles will be studied numerically, and the dynamical features will be followed for different system sizes. We aim at realization of different nontrivial types of low-dimensional dynamics in large ensembles. Furthermore, the possibility of an experimental realization with electronic circuits will be explored.
