Liquid-Chromatography Tandem Mass Spectrometry (LC-MS/MS) Core Facility (S01)

The service project, S01, connects the mass spectrometry platforms of Internal Medicine I and the Centre for Organismal Studies with the aim of providing consortium members the means to perform quantitative analysis of reactive metabolites, and their associated post-translational modifications, in relation to changes in core metabolism. The implementation of novel protocols and metabolomics techniques, such as 13C/15N tracing, will be a major focus for the future research program, thereby providing the prerequisites for translational applications.
