New cyclic peptoids - design and syntheses

30多年来，类肽是一类广为人知的化合物。从那时起，它们就不断发展起来。由于其快速和简单的合成，类肽代表了流行的模拟，可以在许多方面使用。通过药效和结构的相关性，基础研究集中于开发模仿已知多肽结构的单个结构基序。在成功的前期工作的基础上，本项目的目标是开发新型的三级结构的类肽支架，用于金属的络合。此外，我们打算发展专门结合金属的配体系统，并允许简单而同时地结合到这种新产生的支架中。

For over 30 years, peptoids are a well-known class of compounds. Since then, they are constantly developed. Due to their fast and easy synthesis, peptoids represent popular mimetics that can be used in many ways. Through the correlation of efficacy and structure the basic research focusses on the development of individual structural motifs that mimic known peptide structures. On the basis of successful preliminary work, the aim of this project is to develop novel tertiary structures of peptoid scaffolds, which later serve for the complexation of metals. Furthermore, we intend to advance ligand systems that specifically bind metals and allow simple and simultaneous incorporation into this newly generated scaffolds.
