The project Z conduces the organizational coordination and the handling of all administrative tasks connected with the research unit. On Z also rests the responsibility to work with the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) and the administration of the Universities of Frankfurt and Göttingen. The administrative tasks include: supervision of the financial resources of the research unit, preparation of the disposition statements, preparation of recruitment of personnel, accounting for the sub-projects and central expenses, book-keeping, registry and inventory. Furthermore, the project is responsible for the technical production of reports to the DFG, the application for future funding and for the online presentation of the research unit. Moreover, it organizes the regular meetings and colloquia as well as the support of cooperation partners on visit to Frankfurt. The project also coordinates local conferences and workshops, in particular the international conference on Relative Clauses and Other Types of Modifiers.
