Generation of time-bin entangled microwave states with quantum feedback

I have fabricated a new set of devices focused on major improvements to the circuit layout aimed on improving the coherence and directionality of the devices. In addition, I have performed extensive analytical simulations on a simplified model of the chiral emitter device to understand the factors affecting the directionality better.I have also characterized lumped-element Josephson parametric amplifier devices with a high gain, bandwidth, and dynamic range used to amplify microwave signal reflected and emitted by the chiral emitter device. The results show that the amplifiers can significantly improve the signal-to-noise ratio of the measurement with a wide bandwidth of 75 MHz for 10 dB gain and a 1 dB compression power of -105 dBm.
