パピアメント語の形態統語論に着目した博士論文を完成することができた。2021年に現地への渡航ができず、その後現地にいる複数の方から録音をお願いしたところ、難しいということが明らかになったため、音韻論に関しては新たな知見をもたらすことができず先行研究の簡潔な考察にとどまった。なお、2021年度のうちに収集した口語データ（動画の書き起こし）に基づき、パピアメント語の複数の方言の自然な形態統語法を分析することができた。語類の定義を定め、それぞれの形態統語的な特徴を詳細に記述した。テンス・アスペト・モダリティ（TAM）を表す諸要素の関係性・制限に関して語順・機能・要素の語類を整理した。最後にパピアメント語に影響を与えた言語との対照を行い、クレオール研究におけるパピアメント語の位置づけについて視野を広げることができた。博士論文「A Study on Papiamentu Morphosyntax」が2023年度のうちに所属機関（東京外国語大学）によって公表される予定である。口語データの一部は博士論文の付録に載せている。そのデータにはパピアメント語が話されているアルバ島・ボネール島・キュラソー島の方言が含まれているため、言語資料としての価値が高い。全体のデータの公開についてははこれからインターネット上でホストできる研究機関・大学を探し検討する。完成した博士論文は約1年以内に公表される予定である。
