项目摘要

2022度は査読論文「オズワルド・モーズリーと議会主義批判――融合する二つの民意と権力融合」が『法学政治学論究』に受理され2023年6月に刊行される予定である。また日本学術振興会の若手研究者海外挑戦プログラムに採用していただき、2022年12月より英国のケンブリッジ大学アジア・中東研究科に留学している。現地ではブレンダン・シムズ教授やバラク・クシュナー教授より直接ご指導いただき論文の執筆を進めている他、インテリジェンス・セミナーに積極的に参加してインテリジェンス研究に従事する研究者の方々と学術的な交流を深めている。インテリジェンス史は史料の公開に制限がある分野であるため、インテリジェンス史研究を行っている英国の研究者と交流することは、貴重な情報を得ることにも繋がり研究遂行上有意義なものとなっている。特筆すべきは、留学したことで充分な史料調査の時間を確保できた点である。ロンドンの国立公文書の他、シェフィールド大学やバーミンガム大学でも史料収集を実施できた。今後はドイツやイタリアで史料調査をし、多角的な視点からの分析を試みる予定である。また、過去二年間に亘って研究活動を実施した東京財団政策研究所ポピュリズム国際歴史比較研究会の研究成果として共著『民主主義の後退』（仮）を刊行することになり、戦間期英国における民主主義の後退について分析した論考を執筆した。2023年度中に慶應義塾大学出版会より刊行予定となっている。
