项目摘要

精神医療の進歩により、精神障害があっても親になることが当たり前の時代になりつつあるが、その子どもの実態は社会に知られておらず、支援もされていない現状がある。そのような中、成人しても生きづらさを抱える、大人になった子どもの家族会「精神疾患の親をもつ子どもの会（以下、こどもぴあ）」が設立され、活動拠点の拡大を図ってきた。本研究は、2018年に設立された、こどもぴあで活動している、成人した子どもたちのリカバリーの経験から、子ども自身の困難の受けとめや対処、子ども自身が望んでいる支援を明らかにし、未成年の子どもたちへの効果的な関わりや支援を検討する。さらに、その成果を「こどもぴあ」メンバーの経験を活かしたピアサポートとして、配偶者会との連携による学童期以降の子ども支援、小中学校の教員を対象とした教材作りを行い、義務教育の時期にある子どもへの直接的支援を実施することを目的とする。この研究で得られる知見は、精神保健医療福祉や教育に関わる支援者の子どもへの理解を促進し、精神障害者家族支援や子育て支援のエビデンスになる。また、子どもたちの世代を超えたピアサポートは、未成年及び成人した子ども自身の支援となり、精神障害者本人にとっても、安心して子育てできる環境作りに繋がると考える。今年度は学校教員の理解を図る目的で、こどもぴあの協力を得て作成した動画教材「私ここプログラム」の効果評価を行い、その成果を論文とした。また、ホームぺージ「私ここライブラリー」を作り、動画教材を自由に閲覧できるようにした。国がヤングケアラー支援対策事業を始めたことから、メンバーが研修会等で体験をかたる機会も増え、厚労省のヤングケアラーのピアサポート団体として、こどもぴあが紹介されている。こどもぴあの拠点は今年度、新たにこどもぴあ岡山が誕生し、拠点が６か所に増えた。
