项目摘要

今年度は、前期の育児休業による休職のため海外におけるフィールド調査の実施は延期した。文献調査やオンラインにおける調査を進めると同時に、京都において国内フィールド調査の成果報告である展示、研究協力者との打ち合わせや勉強会を行った。１国内フィールド調査の映像による成果報告　…京都にて、日本国内の若いムスリムによる映像作品制作と研究の成果を展示した「ヤングムスリムの窓」展を開催した。(https://project-yme.net/exhibition2023/)国内の若い世代のムスリム３人との映像制作や調査を通した作品制作と、自らも映像作品を制作・展示すると同時に討論会を４回開催し映像を通した人類学的理解について、また当事者参加型の調査や教育を含む社会科学の在り方についても議論を行った。こうした映像人類学と当事者参加型の制作活動、研究のアウトプットの在り方を考える活動は本研究の最終アウトプットにおいても活用する予定である。２ムスリム・メディアが運営するＳＮＳやメディアの調査…西アフリカのムスリム・メディアが運営するYoutubeやFacebookなどのライブを定期的に視聴し情報収集と分析をすると同時に、西アフリカの大学に所属する若者たちを中心としたオンライン調査およびインタビューを行った。その結果、大学生世代の人を中心に、自らの社会生活や宗教実践にSNSやソーシャルメディアを活用している実態が分かった。こうした結果を踏まえ2023年は現地でフィールド調査を行う予定である。３オンライン勉強会と研究発表…上記の調査に加え、研究者同士の勉強会を開催した。特にデジタルネイティブ世代の宗教性に関して、アフリカ、アジアの異なる宗教実践について調査している国内外の研究者と勉強会を定期的に開催し、先行研究の検討や新たな研究成果についての議論を通じて新たな研究成果に繋げる予定である。
