项目摘要

２０２１年度は、本科研研究の１年目にあたるが、新型コロナ禍により海外調査や対面の学会・研究会ができなかったことにより、研究が停滞した側面があった。しかしながら、前回（２０１７～２０２０年）の科研共同研究の成果や、そこから浮かび上がった課題を整理し、オンラインの研究会を通して、本研究の方向性について検討を重ねることはできた。その結果、本科研においても最終成果として共著書の刊行を目指すという目標を改めて設定し、その内容についても、「気象」「海洋」「環境」を中心テーマに据えることが大枠の方向性として決まった。そして各分担研究は、公文書等の一次史料にもとづく実証研究であることを前提としつつも、より大きな理論的枠組みや学問的課題に結び付くような共著書を目指すという合意が得られた。そのために今後、各分担研究者が、それぞれの個別研究がそこに貢献できるような理論みや学問的な議論の枠組みを、二次文献を読み進めながら探って行くという点も確認された。各自の分担研究においては、オンラインで入手できる一次史料を出来る限り渉猟し、それらの整理・分析を進めた。また関連する二次文献を入手し、その読解と情報抽出を行った。さらに学会への応募や学会発表の準備も各自進めた。
