本研究では、競争が企業のイノベーションや産業構造の変化にあたえる影響を、成長著しい中国企業を対象に分析している。昨年度までは、先行研究サーベイや、企業の技術開発行動の特徴とデータセットの整理を行ったうえで、企業間の技術的な差別化や学習を明示することができるような手法を検討した。今年度はまず、特許出願件数が増加している中国企業（機械産業全般と情報通信技術［ICT］産業）を対象に、中国企業の技術開発行動を分析した。具体的には、主要企業各社が技術開発に注力している技術分野を対象に、産業内と産業間で比較し、各社あるいは各産業の開発動向を整理した。また、これまではおもに産業内の開発動向に注目していたが、今年度は産業間のそれを示すための手法を検討した。その上で、実証分析のため、企業行動の整理と業績との関係をめぐる仮説の検討や、産業構造変化の事例研究のため、産業内と産業間の変化の整理を行った。今年度はまた、企業の技術的な差別化と学習のバランスについてのモデル分析も行った。昨年度まで、技術開発をめぐる企業行動の特徴や議論すべき点を整理したことに基づいて、モデルの設定と分析を行い、企業が学習をめぐってどのようなジレンマに直面しているのか、また、その結果、産業全体として技術が普及・蓄積していくのかを示した。しかし、関連研究者との議論を通じて、検討することができなかった点も明らかになったため、今後の課題としたい。

This study analyzes the impact of competition on the development of China's enterprises.
