年間５回にわたる研究会を実施し（8/23-24、12/03-94、2/19-20、3/16、3/18-20）、各自の研究の進捗状況を報告し議論を重ねるとともに、全体として今後の研究の内容と方向を常に確認・共有しながら研究を進めてきた。コロナ禍で予定していた海外調査が困難であったので、海外のカウンターパートとは、オンラインを通しての交流のほか、直接招聘しての講演と研究会を行った。2月19日-20日の研究会では、英国在住の教育関係者（グラント純子）にイギリスの子育て支援の現状と課題をオンラインで講演してもらい、3月には英国の著名な進歩主義教育学校の20年余り校長職を務めた教育家（Foskett,Gary)を招聘して、その教育経験を通して明らかになった葛藤を含めた諸問題を、聞き出すことができた。8月には2泊3日の研究会合宿を行い、研究報告と進捗状況を発表し、研究全体を構成する論点整理を行い、それぞれ自らの研究を全体構成の中に位置づける確認を行った。12月に大阪公立大学教育学会と共催で、きのくに子どもの村学園副園長を迎え山﨑を含むパネラー3人のシンポジウムを開催した。翌日大阪・パドマ幼児園長秋田光彦と幼稚園保護者の現状について座談会と研究会を行った。3月に徳島の遍路宿で、不登校児童生徒の居場所「ひとみ学舎」代表（居上公美子・研究協力者）と保護者（親芋の会）、20年以上継続した「子ども遍路歩き」の関係者と座談会形式のインタビューを実施し、併せて「親性」生成教育に関わるアンケート調査を実施し、貴重なデータを得た。研究成果は、①学会発表（保育学会等榎本２、アートミーツケア学会等＝弘田、正保2、講演：辻本,山名）、②論文投稿（榎本２，弘田２[英文誌１]、楊奕２）、③著書（単著＝榎本、共著＝山名、楊奕）、講演（弘田、辻本、楊奕）。
