今年度の具体的な実績は、一つは徳川家康と織田信長による、いわゆる「清須同盟」と呼ばれる事跡について、近世及び近代初期・中期の文献を調査した。その結果、近世前期の段階では「清須同盟」についての具体的な記事は見出せず、近世前期に成立した『三川記』が、「清須同盟」の話の素地となるようなものが見出せ、それよりやや後に作られたと目される『三河記』において、「清須同盟」が形成されていることが判明した。さらに幕府編纂の徳川創業史『武徳大成記』では『三河記』を踏まえつつ記事の選択を行い、「清須同盟」伝説が発展・定着をみせたことがわかった。なお、『武徳大成記』編纂にあたり各家に提出させた由緒書（「貞享書上」）において、植村家が植村家政の「清須同盟」時における活躍を記していたため、この逸話も『武徳大成記』に採用されることになり、その後近代まで広く読まれた『常山紀談』や、さらに大正期の少年向けの伝記にまで取り込まれていることが明らかになり、「清須同盟」の別の側面も歴史として定着していったことを確認することができた。これらの成果は『家康徹底解読　ここまでわかった本当の姿』（共著）の1章として報告した。また、「崇禅寺馬場の敵討ち」にまつわる実説・実録・活字翻刻本について、国文学研究資料館や京都府立京都学・歴彩館、九州大学附属図書館などへの実地調査および資料収集を行った。これらの結果（まだ調査は途上にあるが）、近代初期に刊行された「今古実録」シリーズ『敵討崇禅寺馬場』が元にした実録写本を特定することができ、また、「崇禅寺馬場の敵討ち」を扱った実録が、それほど多くは残っていないものの、それぞれ内容が異なり、複雑な本文系統を持っていることがわかった（本文系統の整理については今後の課題である）。
