次の４点の研究を行ない進行中である。1.論文　“Why didn't Edgeworth draw an Edgeworth box?:‘The field of competition’ conceived by Edgeworth as an analogy of ‘Field’ in physics”の執筆中である。エッジワースが、いわゆるボックスダイアグラムを描かなかったのは、「競争の場」というこれまで見過ごされてきた独自の競争概念を展開する狙いがあったためであることを示す。「競争の場」という概念は、物理学の「場」という概念のアナロジーである。「競争の場」は、不完全な競争状態が完全競争均衡に収束する視点を有しているだけでなく、戦略的相互依存のあるケースにおいて均衡がサイクル、ジャンプするなどの挙動も視野に入れる。さらに、「競争の場」が発散する場合には、「戦争」という破壊的な状況を含む視点ともなっており、市場を支える制度を含意する競争概念となりうる。2.『数理心理学』Mathematical Psychics の翻訳　ほぼ全訳、ギリシア語の表現、注、数式の解説および解題を準備中である。3.「経済思想」をテーマとする教科書を執筆中である。。従来の通史ではなく、A.スミスやJ.M.ケインズ経済学の古典に回帰しながら、エッジワースを端緒とするゲーム理論の視点、メカニズムデザインの視点、統計手法等などの現代経済学の内容および意義を、経済思想として理解するための道案内を初学者向けに準備している。4.エッジワース、ジェヴォンズの文献目録の整理を行い、エッジワースについてはこれまで未収録のものも含め整備した。またジェヴォンズの初期の科学論文も含め整理、入手し整備が完了した。
