日露における新型コロナウイルスの蔓延とロシア軍によるウクライナへの軍事侵攻によって，初年時の2020年度以降，研究にはほとんど進展が無く，それは2022年度も同様であった。2022年度は，2020年度に十分に取り組めないまま残された（１）日露の文学的文章読解の指導実態と子どもの意識の把握，（２）分析的思考に繋がる問いの要素・要件，及び7-9年生段階に求められる問いの水準確定に，改めて取り組む予定であったが，上記の状況からまったく十分ではなかった。日本の学校では校地内に入ることができるようになり，日本の研究協力者との研究相談や授業視察は実現できるようになってきたが，ロシアへの渡航やロシアからの関係者の招聘等は言うまでもなく未だ困難であり，ロシアにおいて本研究遂行に賛意を示してくれている関係者との連絡もとりづらい状況が継続している。徴兵への不安からモスクワ在住の協力者の中には国外に脱出した者も多い。こうした状況と今後の見通しを総合した結果，本研究の継続は困難であると判断し，已むなく廃止を決断した。しかしながら，他の研究課題「中学生の読書の質的充実を目指す学校読書環境モデルの開発」（17K04759）において得た知見と，トルストイ研究者であり中等教育における文学教育の実践者でもあるアナスタシア・トュリャコーワ博士から提供された資料及び助言をもとに，学校教育における文学的文章を対象とした学習指導で示される日本とロシアの「問い」の比較を行い，日露両国の傾向・特徴について整理した。この研究成果については，論文「学校教育における文学的文章に対するロシアと日本のアプローチ　－作品読解の着眼点や切り込み方の異同に着目して－」にまとめた（『解釈』2023年5・6月号に掲載予定）。
