The Specialized Information Program on Book Studies, Library and Information Science (FID BBI) addresses three subjects with large intersections. Their research concerns the production, dissemination and reception of information and the attached value creation chains from many different perspectives. The FID BBI aims at providing information services for researchers of these three disciplines, at contributing to interdisciplinary community building and at ensuring knowledge transfer between the disciplines.
