项目摘要

本研究は、国際バカロレア（ＩＢ）の教育原理を分析・検討したうえで、その成果から我が国の教科教育の改善に資する示唆を得ようとするものである。新型コロナ感染症拡大により、研究計画立案時に予定していた国内外のＩＢ校に対する実地調査ができなかったため、これまで研究計画の大幅な変更を余儀なくされた。2022年度中には、感染症拡大もある程度おさまり、海外の渡航をはじめ移動が自由となったものの、外部者の学校訪問にはまだ制約があり、学校での実地調査を充分に行うことはできなかった。しかし、そのような状況においても、従来から連携をしている研究者との交流を継続し、本研究の現時点の成果を国内外へ発信し、いくつかの貴重な示唆を得ることができた。研究の成果としては、下記の三点を挙げることができる。第一は、思考力や判断力の育成を目指した教育のあり方について、米国で開催された教育学会に参加し、シティズンシップ教育の研究者の研究発表を聞いたり、直接、研究者と交流を行ったりしたことである。第二は、国内で開催されたシティズンシップ教育の研究大会に参加をし、ＩＢと教科教育をつなぐ思考力・判断力育成原理についての最新の研究成果に関わる情報収集を行なったことである。第三は、スロベニアのリュブリャナ大学の研究者と研究交流を行い、ＩＢと教科教育をつなぐ原理としてのＥＳＤの可能性について検討を行なったことである。岡山、広島、京都で行われた研究交流では、ＥＳＤの教育実践についての意見交換を中心に議論を深めた。以上をふまえて、ＩＢと教科教育をつなぐ教育原理の解明について、ある程度の見通しを持つことができた。
