项目摘要

本研究の目的は、真宗大谷派教団を事例として、アジア・太平洋戦争期における宗教と戦争の問題を中心に教団という集団、組織水準から議論するという宗教社会学的手法にもとづき、戦争協力に至った「宗教」と「世俗」の相互作用メカニズムを解き明かすことである。真宗大谷派が戦争に協力的な言説・実践を展開したことを教義面の問題のみならず、社会的文脈との対応に着目し、宗教教団にとっての「世俗」の意味、機能を特定することを目指す。また、戦時に生じた「宗教」と「世俗」の相互作用により、戦後の真宗大谷派の教義理解の変容、教団体制の見直しに帰結した側面を明らかにする。本年度は、戦時期の真宗大谷派の改革過程と総力戦との関係、敗戦後から1950年代における改革派とマルクス主義との関係を分析した。資料調査は、新型コロナウイルスの影響による制限を伴う中で行った。主に、国立国会図書館、真宗大谷派の関係機関を中心に行った。調査結果から明らかになったこととして、主に2点挙げられる。1点目は、戦時期の改革派の動員は、総力戦に伴う組織の合理化、教学の再編成とともに行われたことである。2点目は、敗戦後から1950年代にかけてのマルクス主義・封建遺制論による浄土真宗批判に対して、改革派が積極的に応答し、組織改革の方向性を定めていった点である。上述の2点より総力戦体制下に教団の近代化が進むと同時に、戦後のマルクス主義・封建遺制による批判に応答するグループが形成されてきたと言える。これは、組織構造、思想の影響関係に着目することで明らかになった点であり、教学・宗学・思想史の研究では十分に明らかになっていなかった点である。以上の2点の研究成果のうち、1点目は、研究会発表ののち、論文として投稿し、発表されている。2点目は、学会発表ののち、論文として投稿し、発表されている。また、本研究の成果は、博士論文としてまとめた。

The purpose of this study is to investigate the case of Shenzong Otani Sect, the central issue of religious disputes in the Pacific War, the methods of religious sociology, the cooperation of religious disputes, and the interaction between religion and secularism. Shenzong Otani School's struggle for cooperation in speech, practice, teaching, social context, religious education, and "secular" meaning, function, and direction The interplay between religion and secularism, the change of understanding of the doctrine of Shinjo Otani, the clarity of the system of religion and the bottom of the system of religion. This year, we will analyze the reform process and overall relationship between the Shinjong Otani faction during the Qing Dynasty, and the relationship between the reformists and Marxism in the 1950s after the defeat. The data survey was conducted in the context of the impact of the new model on the environment. The National Assembly Library and the Shinzo Otani School's Relations Center are in charge. The results of the survey are as follows: 1. The mobilization of the reformers in the period of reform, the rationalization of the organization and the reorganization of teaching 2 points: after the defeat of the 1950s, the development of the feudal system, the criticism of the true sect of the earth, the positive response of the reformers, the orientation of the organizational reform. The two points mentioned above are: the modernization of education under the system of comprehensive power, the development of socialism, the criticism of feudal system, and the formation of new ideas. The relationship between organizational structure and thought is very important. The above two points of research results, 1 point of research, research will publish everything, papers submitted, published 2. The paper will be submitted to the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences.
