项目摘要

2021年度は、統計的リテラシーの育成を目的とした授業の実践と評価に主に取り組んだ。まず、2020年度より検討してきた指導方法や教材をもとに、高校生を対象とした単元を実践した。そして、この単元の学習を通して、生徒の統計的リテラシーのスキルが習得されたかどうかを検討した。その結果として、複数のスキルが向上した可能性を見出した。一方で、統計的リテラシーのように身の回りの統計情報を読むことを中心とした活動だけでなく、「調査計画を立てたりデータを適切に分析したりして統計情報を創出する能力」の育成に関する活動との連携の必要性も考察された。本研究では、統計的リテラシーと「調査計画を立てたりデータを適切に分析したりして統計情報を創出する能力」を育成するための学習プログラムを提案することを目的としていた。上記の結果を踏まえると、統計的リテラシーに関する学習に取り組んだ後に、後者の能力に関する学習を展開するような段階的な学習プログラムではなく、両者の学習活動を統合したプログラムによる学習が効果的であることが考察された。そして2021年度は、「調査計画を立てたりデータを適切に分析したりして統計情報を創出する能力」の指導や学習の在り方を検討する予定だった。しかし、COVID-19の影響によりニュージーランドへの渡航が難しく、さらに、研究代表者の所属組織の変更もあり、十分に検討できなかった。そのため、本研究では、両者の能力を育成するための学習プログラムの構成を検討できたが、実際に授業を実践して検証することはできなかった。
