本年度(2021年4月-2022年9月)は新型コロナウイルスの影響により研究期間を延長した上での最終年度であったため、本研究の目的である、「徳之島伊仙方言の文法書、辞書、談話資料の作成」の完成を目標とした。談話資料、語彙集は、web上で公開するための準備段階にある。本年度は、新型コロナウイルスの感染状況を注視しながら徳之島で方言の現地調査を行っていく予定であったが、感染状況を鑑みて現地調査を行わなかった。したがってオンライン調査で得たデータで行える研究と現段階で入手可能なデータを公開するための研究を行った。まず、以前に得た方言の談話資料データを公開した。また、これに伴い、インターリニアグロス付きの音声資料をWeb上で公開するための仕組みを開発中である（未発表）。また、関連として、方言の談話資料を再利用可能な形式で公開するための方法論について発表した。既存の語彙資料をText Encoding Initiative Guidelineに従った形式に変換した上でWeb上で一般ユーザが利用可能な辞書サイトとして公開する枠組みについて研究を行い、国際学会で発表した。今年度に発表した研究では沖縄語を研究対象としたが、この知見を用いて本研究課題の研究対象である徳之島方言の語彙データを公開するwebサイトを作成中である（未発表）。文法書の一部を、記述文法アンソロジー"An Introduction to the Japonic Languages"の中で発表した。オンライン調査によって得た音声・文法データに関する分析は、『しまじまのシマクトゥバ 3』「第35回日本音声学会全国大会」や「沖縄言語研究センター研究発表会」などで発表した。
