本研究は、日本語学習者の縦断調査を実施して作文データを収集し、日本語学習者の統語発達を複雑性の観点から測ることができる指標を開発し、開発した統語発達指標を検証することを目標とする。学習者の統語発達を調べる方法として、英語習得研究でおこなわれてきた言語発達指標の中からMDD、MDHやSyntactic Complexity Analyzerの複雑性指標を検討し、日本語の統語発達を測ることができる指標を開発する。これまでに調査は、2021年3月から2か月おきに40人ずつのデータ収集を計画したが、途中コロナ感染症蔓延の影響により、調査地である大連市で都市封鎖が断続的に実施されたたため、計画通りに調査を実施することが困難になった。この結果としてこれまでに合計６回分の調査が実施できた。データはすべて電子化し、分析できる形に整える作業をおこなった。対面よる産出課題調査の実施については、残念ながら実施することができなかった。成果発表は、2022年度７月『中部大学人文学部研究論集』（48号、1－14）「日本語学習者の構文構造に関する研究」（単著）、同年9月『言語研究』162号47－62）「統語依存関係に基づく位相研究―文章ジャンルの位相差を対象に―」（本課題の研究協力者である李文平氏と共著）に掲載した。また、2021年10月からはコルーニャ大学（スペイン）の研究者であるRamon Cancho氏と月1度のペースでオンライン会議を開催して、学習者統語発達指標に関する共同研究を進めており、2023年6月にスイスローザンヌ市で開催される国際学会QUALICO2023で口頭発表（Syntactic development and optimality of dependency distances for Japanese as a second language）を予定している。

This study is based on a survey of Japanese language learners, a collection of compositions, and a collection of Japanese language learners’ unified language. The nature of the point is measured and the indicator is opened, and the indicator is achieved and the target is confirmed.
