项目摘要

平成7年度は、漢字を母語に持たない外国人学習者のための漢字学習支援システム構築のために、プログラムの試用、改良に取り組んだ。「QTKanji」というプログラムは、自分のペースで漢字学習を進められるように漢字の筆順を一つずつデジタル化し、学習者の見たい筆順を見たいときにデジタル動画で提示し)、読みの情報などもあわせて、提示できるように設計したものである。このプログラムの特徴は、ハイパーカード上の各漢字カードに漢字の筆順をQuick Time形式のデジタル動画で提示し、音訓の読み方、熟語の情報を文字で提示する点である。また、学生が画面上で動画のほんを見ながら書く練習をする機能と、画数を数える画数クイズ機能が付いている。また、一覧表示のカードもあり、その中の漢字をクリックするとその漢字カード画面へ自動的に移動できる。平成7年度は、それ以前に試作した漢字約500字のデータと新たに追加した約500字のデータと合わせて約千字分のデータのデジタル化を終了し、教育・研究資料として利用できるようにCD-ROMに納め、教育・研究資料として配付を予定している。同時にインターネット上(http: //langue. hyper. chubu. ac.jp/komori/kanjimov/)での公開も開始している。また、上記のCD-ROMを送付したMIT(http: //www-japan. mit. edu/mit/mit-materials/KanjiQuiz. html)でも、この漢字のデジタル・データをインターネット上で公開しており、世界各地の研究者や学習者に利用されはじめている。プログラムを評価するために、試行的に「QTKanji」を平成6年度および平成7年度に中部大学で日本語を学ぶ2つのクラスの留学生に「QTKanji」を使用してもらい、その後アンケート調査を行なった。これにより今回の「QTKanji」を使った漢字学習は、効果があることが確かめられた。現在までの成果を踏まえ、今後の研究課題としては、具体的に次の3点を検討していく計画である。
