项目摘要

本研究の目的は、都市社会においてコミュニティの三つの位相（関係的・制度的・象徴的位相）が相互連関し「一時的な体制」を形成する過程を分析することで、コミュニティの領域性に周期性や変動をもたらす歴史社会的条件を明らかにすることにある。そのための事例として東京郊外にある立川・砂川地域における「砂川闘争」以前／以降の複数の「集合的な出来事」を対象に、歴史社会学的な研究を行ってきた。2022年度は、大きく2点の調査研究を遂行してきた。第1に、市民グループHの活動への参加型調査の継続である。これは過年度と同様に、毎月1回の定例会への参加の他、活動の担い手の一人としての役割を担い、フィールドワークやシンポジウムへの企画段階から参加することによって、議事録、会議資料、チラシ、パンフレット等の一次資料の収集にあたってきた。第2に、砂川闘争当事者が保管する史資料の調査である。過年度にはインフォーマントの敷地内にある倉庫の調査を行い、砂川闘争当時の貴重な一次資料（日誌、チラシ、私信、署名簿等）を多数発見し、資料のクリーニングと保護作業を行い、調査目録と整理用の写真撮影の作業を完了した。2022年度は調査目録の整備と冊子体での発行にむけた編集作業を進めた。これは当該科研費プロジェクト全体の成果物となる予定である。なお当時の写真資料の収集・整理と再分析に関しては、2023年度以降、市民グループHを拠点として地元の歴史学者、文化財科学らと派生的な共同研究を展開していく予定となっている。なお当該研究が準拠する理論的枠組みに関しては、地域社会学会2022年度第2回研究例会で口頭報告を行ったほか、地域社会学会発行の『地域社会学会ジャーナル』第8号（2022.11.27）にて論文として発表した。
