项目摘要

本研究では、寡占の一般均衡理論を貿易と環境の問題に応用し、「多数の産業で国際的な寡占競争が繰り広げられているとき、環境政策の強化や貿易の自由化は、国内外の賃金水準や雇用にいかなる影響を及ぼすのか。そして、この影響は経済活動や環境問題にどのように波及するのか。」を分析する。具体的には、「寡占競争モードの内生的決定を含む統一的なモデルを構築し、競争モードの変化に応じて総排出量や最適な環境政策の水準がどのように推移していくのか、また、貿易自由化はこの経済と環境にいかなる影響を及ぼすのかを明らかにする」ことを目的としている。令和３年度に公表した本研究課題の基礎となる論文「寡占の一般均衡における貿易自由化と環境の分析」（『福井県立大学経済経営研究』第４４号）では、国内に貿易財産業と非貿易財産業の両方が存在する寡占の一般均衡モデルを想定し、貿易財産業における輸送費の低下、すなわち貿易の内延の拡大に加え、貿易財産業の割合の増加、すなわち貿易の外延の拡大が、価格の2次モーメントと総排出量にいかなる影響を与えるのかを、賃金率の変化を通じた間接的な影響も含めて明らかにした。令和４年度は、上記の論文のモデルが本研究課題の主要な目的を達成するためのモデルに応用可能かどうかを検証した。また、本研究課題の主要な目的を明らかにするための前段階として、労働市場における賃金水準の内生的な決定と企業の排出削減投資の関係を考察するモデルを構築した。
