本申請課題では、アロペアレンティング状況が、子の社会性発達および養育者のメンタルヘルスにどのような影響を及ぼすのかについて、以下の3つの課題から検証する。課題①では、学童期の子どもとその親を対象に、行動計測、脳イメージング、遺伝子計測を用いて、課題②では、乳幼児期の子どもとその親を対象に、既に実施している追跡データを用いて、課題③では、小児期逆境経験により社会的養護下にある子どもを対象に、課題①と同様の手法を用いて、アロペアレンティング状況と子の社会性発達や養育者のメンタルヘルス、母子関係との関連性について検討する。課題①では、自発的脳活動において1)顕著性ネットワークは母子インタラクションの円滑さと、2) 中央実行ネットワークは過去のアロペアレンティング状況と、それぞれ有意に関連することを明らかにしてきたが、それらの相互関係については未だ検討の余地があるため、引き続き検討を進めている。課題②では、乳幼児期の養育者のメンタルヘルスは、1)過去のアロペアレンティング状況と、2)学童期の子どもの脳発達（下前頭回における灰白質容積）と、それぞれ有意に関連することを明らかにしてきたが、それらの相互関係についても引き続き検討を進めている。課題③では、社会的養護下にある児童と対照児童を対象に行動計測、脳イメージング、遺伝子計測を行った結果、社会的養護児童では対照児童に比べ、1) 行動計測では顔刺激に対して目に対する視覚的注意が低下していること2) 帯状回の灰白質容積が増加していること、3)オキシトシンやその他の遺伝子においてDNAメチル化率に違いがあることなどを明らかにしてきた。現在は、これらに関連する共通因子について検討を進めている。
