项目摘要

「自立活動」における音楽療法的活動として、昨年度に引き続き特別支援学校小学部において音楽教育学および障害児教育学の大学教員、教職大学院生、アドバンスド・プログラム生、特別支援学校教員が、それぞれ異なる立場・視点で意見を出し合いながら授業づくり・実践・協議を行った。今年度は大学教員以外も活動の中で即興表現に取り組んだ。本取り組みを通して、音楽を活用した「自立活動」では、①見る・聴く・身体を動かす等、音楽活動の中で感覚を統合させることで認知機能が高まる、②速さや和音進行によって活動の時間的な感覚の見通しがもてる、③曲想によって気持ちを高めたりリラックスしたりするなど情緒が安定する、④音を聴きながら身体を動かすことで、身体の動きが引き出される、⑤一緒に演奏することで呼吸を合わせたり自分の気持ちを楽器で表現したりする等、コミュニケーション能力が高まる、の5点が見いだされた。またA県内の特別支援学校を対象に、2019年に実施した音楽科および音楽を活用した「自立活動」に関する実態調査を研究論文としてまとめた。調査結果の分析から、音楽科と音楽を活用した「自立活動」では、教科や指導領域としての固有の目的や意義を有しながらも、両者ともに心身のリラックスや精神的な安定といった音楽の機能が重視されていることが明らかになった。また、課題としては、①音楽づくりや即興表現の活動の充実、②音楽づくり（創作）のための研修の機会、③音楽科及び音楽を活用した「自立活動」を行うための環境の整備を指摘した。
