○研究目的本研究は,筆者の肢体不自由特別支援学校での音楽科教育の教育実践と指導経験を活かし,地域の通常学級に在籍する肢体不自由のある児童への音楽教育支援を通して,特別支援教育システムの構築を図ることを目的とした研究である。○研究方法施設併設学級に在学する児童は,肢体に不自由を持ちながらも,地域の通常学級に在籍していた場合が多い。そこで,本研究の方法は,児童が当校在籍中に実態把握を行い,児童が音楽を学習する上での困難さとその背景要因を整理し,運動動作のみの困難性から捉えた手立てではなく,認知特性を踏まえた手立てや配慮を行い,その有効性を検討した。そして,入院期間終了とともに児童を前籍校に戻す際,通常学級においてもその障害特性を踏まえた音楽教育を受けることができるように,音楽科教諭,担任教諭や支援員に対して効果的な指導方法や使いやすい教材教具等を引き継いだ。○研究成果通常学級に在籍する肢体不自由のある児童が,音楽を学ぶ上で最も困難さを感じていることは,リコーダー奏法についてであった。リコーダーの音を出すには,運指と呼吸コントロールの正確性が求められる。しかし,肢体不自由のある児童にとってそれらは困難である場合が多い。そこで,ボタンで空気穴の開閉ができる片手リコーダーの使用を試みた。また,片手リコーダーの運指は通常のリコーダーとはかなり異なっていたり,児童一人ひとりの手の運動機能もまちまちであったりするため,それぞれの児童の認知特性や運動機能に配慮した運指表を作成した。その結果,運動機能の問題で出すことのできなかった音が吹けたり,運指表を確認しながら吹ける音を増やしたりなど,苦手意識の強かったリコーダーの練習に自ら進んで取り組む姿が見られるようになった。そして,音楽会等の行事にも積極的に参加することができるようになった。なお,本研究の成果は次年度以降,学会等で発表することとする。
