2022年度は、室町時代の京都と東国の文芸活動を通じた交流の検討を中心に取り組んだ。具体的には以下の3点にまとめられる。①東国における文芸活動　15世紀前半に京都から東国を旅した歌僧の紀行文「麓のちり」をはじめ、和歌・連歌史料を中心に史料を収集し、検討を加えた。ここでは今川了俊の著作『落書露顕』から、奥州武士の鎌倉での連歌事績をみいだした。室町時代の奥州武士の連歌活動のみならず、鎌倉への集住（在鎌倉）を示す貴重な事例となる。このほか、五山文学関係史料の人名比定を検討し、鎌倉府配下の武士の政治・文化的動向を示す記述として把握し直した。これらの検討をまとめ発表することは、次年度以降の課題となる。②京都における文芸活動　室町幕府に仕える直臣細川奥州家について、文芸事績を中心に検討を加えた。特に、奥州家初代顕氏の菩提寺開創説話を未翻刻文書と照らし合わせることで、菩提寺の性格、所在地や所領に新たな知見が得られた。これについては、現所属の受入研究者主催の研究会で報告した。また、京都府立京都学・歴彩館主催の府民講座でも講演し、一般に向けて発信した。現在査読付雑誌への投稿を目指し準備を進めている。関連して、戦国時代の奥州家の政治動向に関する小文を発表した。③京都と東国に関する未紹介史料の発見　①②に関する史料収集を進めるなかで、室町時代の京都と東国に関する未紹介史料をみいだした。未紹介ゆえ詳論は避けるが、東国政治史の重大事件の理解を改める可能性を持った文書を含む。これを学界へ広く紹介するため、現在所蔵機関と調整を行っている。
