项目摘要

令和4年度の研究成果は、アルザスとライン上流域の関係について史学史的考察をしたこと、またライン川の航行特権と自由航行をめぐる問題に関する先行研究と刊行史料を部分的に読み解いたことである。まず史学史的考察という点では、伝統的なアルザス地域史研究、オーバーラインを対象とするドイツの地域史研究、そしてライン上流域という新たな視角、これら三者の関係について以下のことを明らかにした。アルザスの通史は18世紀前半にフランスにて、オーバーライン史研究は19世紀半ばにドイツにて登場した。その後フランスではライン左岸のアルザス史研究が進んだ一方、ドイツでは20世紀前半にアルザスを含めライン両岸に広がるオーバーラインの一体性の証明が試みられ、それがナチス政権により利用された。そのため戦後はオーバーラインという用語の使用は避けられるか、意識的にアルザスを除外する形で用いられるようになった。ただし近年の中世史研究では、アルザス史とオーバーライン史の分断を乗り越える試みが行われており、ライン上流域のまとまりと両岸の相互関係が明らかにされつつある。本研究課題は、近世のライン上流域の権力秩序を具体的に明らかにすることであるが、以上の史学史的考察を通して本研究の位置づけをより明確にすることができたといえる。その考察結果は、査読論文として学術雑誌に掲載された（安酸香織「アルザスとライン上流域をめぐる史学史的考察」『日仏歴史学会会報』第37号、2022年、17－30頁）。続いてライン川の航行特権と自由航行をめぐる問題については、先行研究を整理したうえで、ウェストファリア条約史料集を用いた分析に着手した。ただし後述のように、何らかの分析結果を提示するところまでは進んでおらず、この点は来年度の課題として残った。
