项目摘要

本研究では、1990年代以降のストラスブールにおいて、地方法の積極的な活用によってモスクやムスリム墓地といった「ムスリムのための場所」が生成されてきたこと、および、市政が宗教間対話の運動を促進してきたことに着目し、当該都市における「ムスリムのための場所」の生成と宗教間対話の活発化の関係性を解明し、宗教間対話におけるムスリムの包摂プロセスを分析することを目的とした。本年度の前半期は、前年度に引き続き現地調査を実施した。宗教間対話イベントの関係者、行政関係者、ムスリム団体関係者などのアクター計10名に対し、半構造化インタビューを行ったほか、イベント等への参与観察および資料収集を行った。本年度後半期は、学位論文を執筆した。調査で得られたデータを分析した結果、モスクやムスリム墓地の建設は良好な宗教間関係の継続によって可能となった一方、これらの場所が宗教間対話の活発化にも貢献していることが示された。また、宗教間対話においてムスリムの関与が期待されていること、宗教間対話の活発化（特に市政による促進政策）の背景には、特に若年層の信仰の「過激化」が懸念としてあることが明らかになった。この成果をもとに執筆した学位論文では「ムスリムのための場所」生成と宗教間対話の活発化を促進するストラスブール市政の在り方を「承認のライシテ」として読み解き、宗教を公的領域から排除しがちな共和主義モデルのライシテとは一線を画す、ストラスブール・モデルのライシテについて論じ、お茶の水女子大学博士（社会科学）を取得した。

This study aims to clarify the relationship between the development of interfaith communication and the active use of local laws in the 1990s and the promotion of interfaith communication in cities.
