项目摘要

Some common trends from participants' responses include the following: (1) Over 90% of EMI instructors did not receive any EMI training from their current university before they started teaching EMI. In the few cases the training was provided, it was usually short and on one occasion (with very few exceptions); (2) About third of participants indicated that their university now provides EMI training, although it is not mandatory, and the training largely focuses on general teaching methods; (3) The preferred kinds of EMI support that instructors would like to receive include ideas for EMI class activities, guidelines for assessment and grading, peer collaboration with other teachers, general teaching methods and methods to combine language and content teaching.
