项目摘要

朝鮮半島と日本列島の人々の成り立ちを明らかにするために,韓国出土の新石器時代人,原三国時代人,三国時代人、慶尚南道現代人の永久歯・乳歯の形態に関するデータを充実させ,分析した。釜山大学校博物館に出張し,凡方貝塚出土の新石器時代人、勒島出土の原三国時代人,礼安里をはじめとする三国時代人のデータを収集した。それを基に,統計学的分析(単変量・多変量分析)を行った結果,礼安里をはじめとする三国時代人は,慶尚南道の現代人・日本列島の渡来系集団と類似する形態を持つことが明らかになった。三国時代以降,現代に至るまで歯の形態は変化していない可能性が示唆される。これは,日本列島における歯の形態の時代的変化と同様である。弥生時代から古墳時代にかけて日本列島へ渡来した渡来人の原郷の一つと考えられる朝鮮半島でも,1500年の間,歯の形態に大きな変化がないことは渡来人の歯の形質を解明する上で意義深い。朝鮮半島の三国時代人,現代人,日本列島の渡来系弥生人,古墳時代以降の人々の持つ,大きな歯,シャベル(切歯)や屈曲隆線(下顎第一大臼歯)等の特徴は,渡来人が元々持っていた歯の特徴であり,それが朝鮮半島と日本で約2000年保持されてきた可能性が高い。
