本研究の目的は.教育実習生が大学の教員養成課程で得た知識を、教育現場で実践的力量を活用するための授業の振り返り方法と指導教員の指導法を提案することにある。研究方法としては、よい体育授業を実現させる教授技術を実習前に実習生に掲示し、実習中にその技術をもとに自らの授業を振り返る手法を用いた。また、対象者を実習生10名を、指導教官4名と広げ、全員が同じ反省カードを用いて実践を行った。反省項目は(1)生徒の意欲的学習、(2)授業の勢い・流れ、(3)教師の相互作用行動、(4)生徒の学習効果が上がる授業、(5)教材の工夫、(6)学習環境の整備、であり五段階評価させた。また、実習生は観察者として他の授業も評価し、授業者・観察者・指導教官の三者の評価を振り返りの材料にした。実習後に、実習生と指導教官の評価平均値を比較し、内観の変化が大きかった一人の実習生Gの授業中の教師行動と日誌の内容を分析し、実習後に行った有能感調査を分析に加えた。研究の結果、実習生と指導教官の授業評価では、六観点すべてにおいて実習生の方が授業を低く評価し、特に学習環境の整備は双方に大きなギャップがあることがわかった。また、実習生Gの相互作用行動については、単元の後半になるにしたがってより具体的で肯定的な内容に変容し、質の高い相互作用を行えるように変容していった。また、実習日誌の内容からは、教授技術に関する知識を授業場面にあわせて臨機応変に活用している様子が読み取れた。事後調査からは、相互作用について有能感を強く感じることができたが、生徒同士の学び合いを作り出すといった質の高い授業づくりに関しては実習中に力量を形成することができないこともわかった。今後は、生徒同士が学び合いを深める教師の働きかけや教材づくりを検討するとともに、10分という業間により効率的で簡潔にできるカードの作成と振り返りの手法を見いだす必要があるだろう。
