项目摘要

障害のある子どもたちは健康上の問題や生活面での課題を抱えており,それらに対応するために特別支援学校では特に医療と連携した健康管理が重要となる。そこで,本校で開学当初から行っている「学校医による健康相談」(以下,健康相談)に着目し,特別支援学校での健康相談の実態を明らかにすること,健康相談を健康管理や教育支援に有効に活かせるようなシステムを構築することの2点を目的として研究活動を行った。1,国立大学附属特別支援学校(以下,国立)41校および県内の県立養護学校(以下,県立)11校を対象とし,平成20年度における健康相談の実態についてアンケート調査を行った。国立29校,県立9校,計38校から回答があり(回収率73%),集計した結果を「特別支援学校における学校医による健康相談の実態調査報告書」としてまとめ,回答のあった学校や附属学校へ郵送し情報を提供した。調査結果からは,特別支援学校における健康相談の実施率や相談を行う学校医の人数や専門,健康相談における養護教諭の役割,よく取り上げられる相談項目,健康相談の必要性および困難点等が明らかになった。これまでにこのような調査は行われておらず情報が少なかったため,本校の健康相談を見直す機会となり,また他校においても参考となる部分があるのではないかと考えている。2,本校で長年行われてきている健康相談の相談記録の一部(過去5年間の記録)を,パソコン内にデータベースとして保存し検索可能なシステム作りを行った。これは「相談項目」「障害名」「学部」等のキーワードを入力することで,学校医からの助言や話し合われた内容を短時間で探し出せるものである。なお,個人情報としての扱いには十分に配慮し健康相談室内でのパソコンに保存し養護教諭が管理している。今後の相談記録も順次増やしていく予定である。今後は、これらの蓄積データを健康管理や教育支援活動の中で有効活用していけるように、データを共有化したり利用を進めたりしていくためにデータリストを作成することを検討している。
