1 研究目的本研究は、小学校音楽科におけるアジア伝統音楽の指導について、韓国の打楽器合奏「サムルノリ」の伝承過程にみられる「口音(クウム)」の教材価値に着眼した指導法開発を試み、実践場面における児童の音楽行為を省察することを通して、この指導法がもたらす学びの特質を明らかにする教育実践研究である。2 研究方法サムルノリの伝承では、口頭性が重視され、打楽器の基本奏法に音節をあてて唱える「口音」と呼ばれる唱歌を用いて技を身体化させる。学習者は師が範として示す口音を唱え、繰り返し技を模倣することで、演奏に要求される呼吸法と奏法を身体で統合的に学ぶ。この伝承過程を音楽科に取り入れ、児童が「口音」を手がかりに技を習得するプロセスを質的に分析する。3 研究成果(1)口音の音節は、サムルノリの主要楽器であるチャンゴの基本打法に対応しており、リズムの基本形式であるチャンダンのリズム要素とチャンゴの打法を学習者が関連付けて学べること。(2)口音を通して、チャンダンを理論的に理解するだけでなく、呼吸法を含めた身体の実践的な運用法として習得でき、合奏時にリズムの伸縮や変化をもたらすこと。(3)チャンゴの技の伝承時から、合奏時に同時に演奏される他の楽器とのアンサンブル上の関係を意識させて学習を進められること。
