项目摘要

1.研究の目的(1)小学校1学年から中学校3学年までの小中9年間を見通した課題解決型の単元やカリキュラムの開発をしていくことである。(2)課題解決型の授業を支える英語力をつけるために,児童・生徒が興味や能力に合わせて自ら選んで読める(小学校は,絵本を見ながら録音を聞く)本を段階的に整理することである。2.研究の方法(1)前年度に実施した第5・6学年の課題解決的な単元(プロジェクト)で構成したカリキュラムを見直し修正、また、中学校と連携できる単元(プロジェクト)を選択した。(2)中学校における学習内容を調査し、小学校と連携できる単元や内容を洗い出した。(3)第5・6学年の児童の意識を調査し,第1～4学年の活動を修正,開発し,小学校1～6学年のカリキュラムを再構築した。(4)(1)(2)を参考にしながら、第5・6学年と中学校とを連続してできる単元を作成した。(5)カリキュラムの参考をするため、ベルギーや台湾の小中学校の英語教育を視察した。(6)(3)(4)(5)を吟味し,小中9力年のカリキュラムを確定した。(7)課題解決的な活動を支えるための絵本,読み物を整理した。(8)カリキュラムの一部を実践して,教師の授業評価,児童・生徒の振り返り,(7)における読書との関連なども分析し,カリキュラムに修正を加えた。3.研究の成果中学校での学習内容を精査したことで、中学校との繋がりを考えた小学校6年間のカリキュラムを再構築することができた。小中学校に通して、コミュニケーション能力・英語力をつけ、かつ、英語に触れる・学習する意欲となる段階的絵本を整理し、9年間のカリキュラムに生かすことができた。9年間を課題解決型の活動で繋いだことで、児童・生徒自らが意欲を持って学ぶ活動や学習とすることができた。本研究で開発した9年間(小中一貫)のカリキュラムは、今後の小学校英語の教科科や早期化に対応するものである。
