项目摘要

○研究の目的本研究は京都市観光文化財団所蔵賀茂季鷹旧蔵『蜻蛉日記』(以下、季鷹本と略称する)、実践女子大学図書館山岸文庫所蔵『蜻蛉日記』(以下、山崎本と略称する)調査を通じて、近世期における平安文学の享受の実態を把握することを目的としていた。○研究方法実践女子大学図書館にて、山岸文庫所蔵『蜻蛉日記』資料番号452(山崎本)、資料番号453、資料番号455の調査を行い、書き入れの分析を行った。ただし、今回は山崎本のみを主たる分析対象とした。その理由は、京都市観光文化財団HPで公開されている写真から、季鷹本が古活字版である可能性を再吟味が求められ、そのため今一度現物を熟覧して判断する必要がある。しかし、報告者が今年度の研究に着手して間もなく、季鷹本は現在国文学研究資料館の管轄で調査及び修復作業に入った。作業は短期間で終わると財団からは回答があったが、予想以上に損傷が激しいため急遽今年度の閲覧は不可能となり、現在も閲覧の目処は立っていない。今年度は、山崎本のみの検討に留まったことを附言する。○研究成果山崎本は宝暦6年版本(安井嘉兵衛再板)で山崎知雄の書き入れが多数存在した。8冊本で巻首に「山崎氏蔵書記」と朱印が捺され、第8冊末尾に「以一本校合畢文政九年丙戌冬山崎知雄」と山崎自筆の奥書がある。分析の結果、山崎が参観した「一本」とは『蜻蛉日記』第二類本に属する本文で、底本である宝暦6年版本は吉田幸一所蔵本にかかる第一類C系に近似することが判明した。つまり、近世期は版本の底本として脱落の多い吉田本系統本文が流布しており、それに対して第二類本も細々と享受されていたことがわかる。山崎は詳細に校合しており、第二類本に何らかの価値を見いだしていた可能性が考えられる。とりわけ第二類本の一つである松下見林旧蔵本は、少なくとも元禄16年以前の書写にかかるものであり、これまで顧みられなかった本文の一つであった。今後は第一類本のみならず、近世期における第二類本の享受の実態や伝来について更なる考究が必要となる。
