(1)特異積分作用書のOrlicz空間における補間理論を用いる評価を得た(小泉)(2)Waveletについて、東北大・現立沢一哉氏を招いて10日間実解析セミナーで勉強会を持った、画像処理、信号解析など応用上の点からも重要であり、電気工学科の研究室、および他大学からも参加者あり、今後の研究が期待される。今年度はその第1歩である(3)確率論については、引続き同じテーマの下で研究成果を上げている(田中、前島、中田)(4)数理物理との関連において不確定原理の公理系から導く仕事は引続き行われ、成果を得ている(石川)投稿中。(5)非線形放物型の方程式について粘性、圧縮流体の大域的解および正則性について引続き研究成果を上げている(谷)(6)常微分方程式との関連について超幾何級数に対するWKB‐方法について(中野)の研究がある、雑法に掲載された論文は10篇以上、準備中のもの数篇になるが、その1部をこゝに述べる
