本研究は、現行の社会科学習が子どもの社会概念(経済概念)の発達に寄与しているかどうかを実証的に明らかにすることを目的としている。特に、小学校第3学年の単元「商店街」は、子どもの日常的な経済活動を取り上げる単元であり、学習前後の子どもの経済概念の変容を見るのに好都合である。それで、本研究では、この単元の学習前の子どもと、学習後の子どもの経済取り引きに関する概念を調査し、その変容を分析し、社会科学習の効果を明らかにしようとした。概要は以下の通り。1)日常生活における子どもの経済システム理解の発達についての先行研究を分析し、研究指針を確認した。その結果、経済学概念教授の立場が易から難へという単純な発達観を持っているのに対し、子どもは日常生活の中で多様な経済理解を示し、独自の発達を遂げていくことが明らかになり、日常的文脈の中で経済現象を問うことによって、より確かな子どもの経済概念の発達状況を明らかにできるという研究指針が得られた。2)調査内容の決定と調査問題の作成。調査内容は、(1)経済活動に関する事実的知識、(2)それぞれの人々の経済活動を関係付けている経済システムに関する構造的知識、(3)経済活動の背後にある経済原理である概念的知識の3層の知識である。調査問題の作成に当たっては、それらを、子どもの具体的文脈における意思決定として表現できるように配慮した。3)調査の実施と結果の分析。長崎県内の公立小学校4校の第2〜5学年児童を対象に調査を実施した。調査時期が実際の学習時期に一致しなかったため、直接「商店街」学習前後のデータは得られなかったが、各学年の変容の分析によって所期の目的は達せられる。現在、結果を分析中である。

This study aims at the development and realization of social concepts based on current social science practices. Investigation of the problem to create when the time, the child, and the specific context of rational decision-making and performance of the allocation 3)Analysis of investigation results and implementation. A survey was conducted on children in the second to fifth school years of four public elementary schools in Nagasaki Prefecture. The survey period is consistent with the study period, the direct "shop street" study period is consistent with the study period, the analysis period of each academic year is consistent with the expected goal. Now, the results are analyzed.
