1.民話モティーフ・データベースの入力及び分析支援システムの拡充構築中の民話モティーフ・データベースに,主として動物民話に関わる追加データの入力を行うと共に,既に開発した,モティーフと地域データを結合させ,モティーフの採取地域を検索によって表示させる「民話モティーフ分布表示システム」を拡充した。当該システムは,所属研究機関のサーバシステムが更新され次第,WWW上で公開する予定である。2.学会における報告11月4日に岩手県立大学で開催された人工知能学会ことば工学研究会において,本研究の分析モデルである機能連鎖としての物語構造に作用する,様々な要素の変換技法を修辞学的に捉える報告を行った。3.民話オントロジーの試作ゲノム情報学のツールのうち,アミノ酸によって構成されるタンパク質配列の分析用アライメントツールClustal Xを,モティーフ連鎖の分析により効果的に応用させるために,物語世界の事物を意味的に体系化するオントロジーの設計を行い,試験的構築を行った。4.民話資料収集フランスの植民地として多民族が移入し,現在ではクレオル化しているフランス海外県レユニオン島において,指標的モティーフの混交を本研究のモデルによって分析するために,民話の聞き放り及び資料の収集を行った。これと併せて,インド洋の他地域に残された民話との伝播関係を,ゲノム情報学ツールの遺伝的アルゴリズムによって解明するためのデータ変換を試験的に行った。
