项目摘要

本研究では国際理解教育についての小・中学校での実態を調査によって明らかにし、さらに、その実態から教員養成での教育方法について検討し、教材研究を試みた。実態調査は山口、広島、福岡の各県の全小・中学校の半数を無作為抽出によって選び、国際理解教育の必要性と推進する教科を明らかにした。国際理解教育の必要性については、小・中学校の90%近くが必要性を認識している。また、国際理解教育を実施するにあったっては、小学校では社会科、国語、道徳、特別活動、音楽などの教科によって推進が可能とし、中学校では社会科、英語、国語の各教科によって推進可能としている。小・中学校で実施するにあたり、問題点となるのは、(1)教員の資質不足、(2)教員の認識・経験不足、(3)教材・資料の不足などがあげられる。こうした現状に対して、教員養成での国際理解教育の対応のために、全教科、領域において国際理解、異文化理解の内容を補完する、総合的な教科として国際理解の教科を新設する、現職教員の再教育などが方法として考えられる。さらに、国際理解教育の教材研究として、英語、美術、音楽、家庭の各教科での内容の検討と教材開発を行った。英語では主に英米だけでなく広く世界の諸国を対象とした異文化理解の教材の導入が必要であり、美術・音楽の芸術教育では各民族の伝統文化の理解と現代的な内容の調和をはかることが必要とされた。また、家庭科ではアメリカのように多民族国家での共通理解のために、家庭科の教育内容を現行のものより、より社会性に富んだ教材を設定する必要があるとの結論が得られた。

This study is aimed at investigating the actual situation of international understanding education in primary and middle schools, exploring the educational methods of teacher development, and studying teaching materials. A survey was conducted on the need to promote international understanding of education through the selection of half of all primary and secondary schools in Yamaguchi, Hiroshima and Fukuoka. 90% of international students understand the necessity of education. International understanding education can be promoted in primary schools, social studies, Mandarin, ethics, special activities, and music, and in secondary schools, social studies, English, and Mandarin. Small and middle schools have problems,(1) teachers 'qualifications are insufficient,(2) teachers' knowledge and knowledge are insufficient,(3) teaching materials and data are insufficient. The present situation, teacher development, international understanding education, comprehensive teaching, field, international understanding, intercultural understanding content, comprehensive teaching, international understanding teaching, new design, re-education methods for in-service teachers, etc. In addition, the research and development of teaching materials for international understanding education, English, art, music and family teaching materials have been carried out. English is the main language of the world. It is necessary to introduce teaching materials for understanding different cultures. It is necessary to harmonize teaching materials for understanding different cultures. The conclusion is drawn from the common understanding of family science in multi-ethnic countries and the necessity of setting up teaching materials for family science education in current society.
