In the project "Editio minor des Leviticuskommentars des Prokop von Gaza" the Commentary on Leviticus, written by the Rhetorician and Theologian Procopius of Gaza (around 465/475 – 528/530 CE) and part of his "Eclogarum in libros historicos Veteris Testamenti epitome" will be edited on the basis of the two preserved manuscripts. This edition will be done as editio minor by a digital presentation trough the Berlin-Brandenburg Academy of Sciences (BBAW) open access and in the series „Texte und Untersuchungen“ of the Academy. This until now only in parts printed commentary is of central importance for the neclected history of the Christian usage of the biblical book Leviticus.
