项目摘要

研究課題「戦後都市における「不法占拠」消滅後の持続的コミュニティに関する研究」における平成21年度の研究実施成果は主に広島市と和歌山県和歌山市および新宮市を対象としたものであつた。まず広島市においては、広島韓国・朝鮮社会研究会のメンバーとして、これまでも継続的に行ってきた、戦後広島における立ち退きに関わった、『中国新聞』の記事の収集とその整理作業を行なった。そして年度末には『戦後広島のマイノリティの立ち退き関係新聞記事資料集』という形で発行することができた。この資料集を踏まえた、戦後広島における「不法占拠」地区の立ち退き問題の状況については、インドで開催されたAsian Planning Schools Associationの第10回国際大会で研究発表を行ない、海外の研究者との研究交流を行なった。平和都市として復興した広島の戦後史を全く別の側面から捉えた本研究への評価は高いものであった。また、当初は計画に入っていなかったが、研究を進めるに当たり、和歌山市では戦後の在日コリアンの生活史に関わる聞き取り調査を進める中で、「不法占拠」問題およびその立ち退き問題の諸相を調査した。新宮市では、在日コリアンが経営していた養豚業の残存過程とその立ち退き問題の経緯について資料調査及び聞き取り調査を行なった。ここでの研究成果については、名古屋大学で開かれた人文地理学会大会で口頭発表を行なった。戦後日本の「不法占拠」地区における生業である「養豚業」についてはこれまであまり研究がなされておらず、在日朝鮮人史および戦後畜産史においても重要な研究になる可能性は十分にあると思われる。
