项目摘要

本年度は、舞踏とテクストの関わりについて、大野一雄舞踏研究所および土方巽アーカイヴでの資料調査（主に蔵書／舞踏譜の閲覧と分析）を行った。大野の蔵書に関しては、データ化を行い整理した。なおその成果として、大野、土方の双方が抱いていたアンリ・ミショーへの関心と、そのアプローチの差異に着目し、研究報告を執筆した（「舞踏とミショー－大野一雄の蔵書調査を中心に」『立教映像身体学研究』第10号、2023年3月、pp. 85-100）。この蔵書調査の過程で新たに未整理の書籍が大量に確認されため、次年度以降も継続して調査する。また、早稲田大学演劇博物館演劇映像学連携研究拠点の2022年度公募研究課題「江口博旧蔵資料にみる戦時下から戦後の舞踊」に共同研究チームとして採択され、舞踊批評家である江口博の旧蔵資料（舞踊関係舞台写真・新聞記事スクラップ他280点）を調査した。2023年1月には、その成果として戦時中の舞踊家たちの活動について、江口の執筆した記事をもとに研究発表を行った。本研究課題である舞踏誕生のバックグラウンドとして、戦前からの流れを無視することはできないため、重要な研究と位置付けている。加えて本年は、これまでの研究をベースに、戦前から戦後にかけての日本の舞踊界の状況および戦後の舞踊における黒人の表象の在り方について、国際学会にて発表を行い（“How Did Japanese Dancers Reflect the War? - US Cultural Diplomacy, Continuing German Modern Dance and Representation of Blackness”, IFTR the 15th Colloquium of ATWG, 中正大學（台湾）、2023年2月19日）、とりわけ後者について参加者から高い関心が寄せられた。
