项目摘要

ダルマキールティの『ヴァーダ・ニヤーヤ』は論議の規定にかかわるインド古来の伝統をふまえ、論議の望ましいあり方を仏教論理学派の認識論・論理学によって抜本的に考察した著作である。近年、サンスクリット語原典の初版本の基礎となった写本の利用状況が改善し、新出写本が同定されるという進展があったため、原典を再校訂する必要が高まっている。本研究は、研究代表者によるゴル寺旧蔵写本の再調査をふまえ、新出のデプン寺旧蔵写本を利用し、二本の写本の相互の関係性の解明を前提に既刊本の再評価を行うことで、新たな校訂本の作成を目指すものである。同時に、翻訳研究を行うことによって、解題をふくめた総合的研究のための環境を整備することを企図している。初年度となる令和4年度は、校訂作業の流れを確立するため、『ヴァーダ・ニヤーヤ』の冒頭部について、デプン寺写本の翻刻を用意し、ゴル寺写本との比較を行った。また、両写本の異同から批判的に校訂されるべき本文を確定し、校訂上の問題の所在を明らかにするために、チベット語訳との比較をおこない、チベット語訳とサンスクリット語写本、さらにシャーンタラクシタによる注釈との本文の異同を精査した。同時に、諸資料に残された本文を総合的に検討することで、伝本相互の関係性や個別の写本伝承についての作業仮説、本文再建の可能性といった校訂にかかわる諸問題についての考察を行った。考察の結果は論考としてまとめ投稿した。またシャーンタラクシタ注の独自の議論について国際学会で研究発表を行った。
